Camco Demonstration Farms Ltd., a member of the Camco Group, was established in Zambia in 2011. The company is committed to building a technology-driven, efficient, and intelligent agricultural enterprise, while also serving as a key hub for promoting advanced Chinese agricultural machinery and technologies and cultivating local agricultural talent. The company currently operates two farms in Zambia, located in Serenje, Central Province and Lufwanyama, Copperbelt Province.
Serenje Farm covers 836 hectares and primarily cultivates wheat, soybeans, and maize. With a prime geographic location, abundant water resources, and convenient transportation access, the farm is well-equipped with six center pivot irrigation systems covering 390 hectares, large tractors and farm implements, grain dryers, silos, weighbridges, maintenance workshops, and staff dormitories. It currently employs around 50 staff. In addition, the farm serves as a demonstration and training base in Southern Africa for renowned Chinese agricultural machinery companies such as LOVOL and Debont.
Lufwanyama Farm spans 5,000 hectares of high-quality agricultural land. With abundant water resources, fertile soil, and convenient transportation, it offers significant development potential and is well-suited for large-scale cultivation of wheat, soybeans, and maize.
